About Me
Hello, my name is Nicola.
My journey as a therapist began over twenty years ago, back in 2004, when I first qualified in VCTC Complementary Therapies, including Swedish Massage and Reflexology. From the beginning, I was fascinated by the body's ability to heal, restore and renew, when given the right support.
Over the next two decades, I dedicated myself to mastering the art and science of touch. I expanded my training into Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Hot Stones and Pregnancy Massage. This diverse skill set took me on an incredible professional adventure - from working in luxury spas onboard international cruise ships, to treating clients in busy gyms and personal training studios. I've even brought relief to fast-paced environments, providing massage at major national festivals like Leeds & Reading, and large-scale corporate events at the NEC, including the Good Food Show, The Gadget Show, and the Mother & Baby Show.
Eventually, I stepped back from travelling to get married and start a beautiful family of my own.
A Personal Turning Point
Life has a way of shifting our perspective. A few years ago my husband was diagnosed with cancer. Becoming his caregiver during his illness was the most challenging, eye-opening, and profound experience of my life.
Seeing first-hand the physical and emotional toll that cancer and its treatments take on a person - and experiencing how specialised, gentle touch could bring my husband moments of true peace, comfort and relief - changed the trajectory of my career forever.
I realised that my true calling was to use my skills to support those navigating their darkest, most vulnerable physical challenges.
